The BOATS are coming to Coupeville!

We are working hard to get ready for the first celebration of the Art of the Boat.  A goodly number of boats will be on display throughout the town.  Here are a couple of images to wet your appetite!

A complete listing of events will be posted soon.  Remember, if you can help, please volunteer a few hours, and receive a poster signed by the artist.  To sign up e-mail Art of the Boat @ g mail . com (take out the spaces, you know the drill)
Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Calling all boats!

CALL FOR BOATS!
Whidbey Island’s first annual Art of the Boat festival will celebrate the beauty of boats in Coupeville Sept. 14, 2013. The day-long event will include art, music, literary readings, and classic, beautiful, interesting boats on display.

Do you have a lovely boat, on a trailer or a cartopper?  Are you proud of your boat, and do you like to show it off, well, this is the place for you!  Boats will be displayed throughout the town of Coupeville.  This event is not limited to boats built of any particular material, of any age, or any specific type of boat.  Boats may be listed for sale using signage within celebration guidelines.  No admission fee for boats.  Clubs, organizations and family boats all welcome!
